Asbury Church Raleigh, at 6612 Creedmoor Road, Raleigh, is holding a fun event for the community, Cookies & Cocoa Community Night, on Friday, December 11th, 2020, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
This free event takes place entirely outdoors. Everyone needs to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Please bring a donation of shelf stable food for North Raleigh Ministries.
Also, please bring your own chair or blanket, and wear a tacky sweater if you’ve got one!
The event includes:
- BBQ for purchase from the food truck “And Also with Que,” which provides a meal to those in need for every meal that is purchased
- Sing-along Christmas carols
- Charlie Brown Christmas Special movie
- Crafts
- Scavenger hunt
- A visit from a special guest
- A live nativity
- Canned fruit
- Baking items (flour, sugar, oil, etc.)
- Breakfast items (cereal, oatmeal, breakfast bars)
- Condiments
- Cleaning supplies
- Size 4 and up diapers (and wipes)
- Canned tomatoes
- Hygiene items (soap, deodorant, etc.)
- Beverages (juice, etc.)
