The winter holidays, starting with Thanksgiving, are a time when many families and individuals are especially interested in volunteering. The holidays can being a renewed sense of gratitude and a desire to give back. Parents often want their children, who receive so much, to have the experience of helping others. And with cold weather on the way, many members of our community are especially vulnerable.
Whatever the motivation for wanting to help, it can be challenging and overwhelming to find opportunities to volunteer, especially with the family.
This is where Activate Good comes in. Activate Good lists volunteer opportunities for everyone, of all ages, in the Triangle. You can search for opportunities for individuals and group, youth, families and schools, and businesses and employee teams. Search volunteer.activategood.org to find volunteer activities.
