With SNAP funding being paused by the federal government, Wake County farmers’ markets have implemented a Double Bucks Emergency Fund Program.
At participating farmers’ markets, go to the information tent, show your EBT/SNAP card and receive $20 in market tokens to spend on eligible food items with any vendor at the market.
Only the markets that participate in Double Bucks will honor this offer. The NC State Farmers’ Market on Agricultural Street, Raleigh, is not a participating market.
Wake Forest Farmers’ Market (and other markets) announced this on their Facebook page.
