Established in 2012, Vox Virorum (“Voices of Men”) is a men’s choral ensemble comprised of singers from throughout the Triangle, with an emphasis on a traditional men’s glee club repertoire, musical excellence and camaraderie.
Nick Staffa says
I do substitute teaching to earn extra money. One of the things I teach English classes is the difference between compose and comprise.
A thing is COMPOSED of its parts. e.g.
“men’s choral ensemble compOsed of singers”.
Comprised should almost never be used.
