Families are invited to a free activity for Veterans Day at Leigh Farm Park, 370 Leigh Farm Road, Durham.
A Kid’s Life: World War I Peg Dolls takes place Saturday, November 11th, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Kids will learn about the role Durham residents played in World War I. They’ll even get to make their own peg doll to take home.
This is a drop-in program and no registration is required. It’s free, but donations are accepted. Age 5-17.
