Ultimate Comics Durham/Chapel Hill, at 6120 Farrington Road, Chapel Hill, is celebrating its 16th anniversary with a party on Saturday, August 17th, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The party includes:
- Huge tent sale
- Creator signings
- Charity blood drive
- Visit from Boom Studios
- Jeremy Whitley, signing his new Marvel series Future Foundation #1
- Local comic creators
- Launching the new hit comic Once and Future by Kieron Gillen and Dan Mora, including an exclusive cover and a giveaway
- 12 p.m. to 4 p.m: Comic Book Presser
- 9-foot tall Stay Puft Marshmallow Man might be making an appearance
The sale:
At the tent sale, thousands of books will be on sale for a dollar each. Or fill a Diamond box of dollar books for just $75. There will also be a big in-store sale. Everything in store will be 16% off. But wait, grab 8 items or more (mix and match) and you can double your discount and get 32% off all your item (only excluding holds and layaways.)
