The Brass Tap: Giving away food for those struggling to feed their kids

The Brass Tap, 16 N West Street, Raleigh, North Carolina, is celebrating its 1st anniversary by reaching out to the community.

They announced on Facebook that anyone struggling to feed their kids, whether it’s because of the loss of a federal paycheck or losing SNAP benefits, can come by with their child under age 18 to pick up some free food.

They’ll be handing out the food Monday to Friday, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., in November, while supplies last.

No strings attached. No purchase necessary.
