Registration is open now for Teen Garden Corps, a FREE hands-on gardening program for teens.
The program meets for 12 weeks at Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina Community Garden, 1924 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, on Thursdays, from February 20th to May 14th, 2020, with the exception of April 9th.
The sessions take place from 4:15 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Teens will learn how to grow and manage their own gardens. The nutrition portion of the program consists of taking fresh vegetables out of the garden into the kitchen for cooking lessons.
To register, search for Barcode 253712 on RecLink. Spots are limited. When you sign up, if spots are all taken you can sign up for a waitlist.
Members who complete all 12 weeks of the program will receive an exclusive prize.
