This summer, Dorothea Dix Park and Fred Fletcher Park are partnering to offer Sunday in the Park, presenting a new musical genre each week. Event locations will alternate between Dorothea Dix Park’s Harvey Hill and Fred Fletcher Park. Bring the whole family, a picnic and a blanket, and sit back and enjoy the music! Food trucks will also be on site offering dinner and desserts. Beer and wine are permitted.
Walking up hills, in grass and on uneven surfaces will be necessary. There are no bathrooms in Dix Park and no drinkable water, so please come prepared to only have portajohns available.
The free concerts will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Dorothea Dix Park is at 693 Palmer Drive, Raleigh, and Fred Fletcher Park is at 820 Clay Street, Raleigh.
