On Wednesday, June 20th, 2018, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., meet some beekeepers at The Durham Hotel, 315 East Chapel Hill Street, Durham, at The 3rd Annual Bee Bash. This is a free, family-friendly event.
This is National Pollinator Week.
As part of National Pollinator Week, Burt’s Bees will be offering free tours of Burt’s Cabin on Thursday, June 21st.
This event is in partnership with Bee City USA and Keep Durham Beautiful. Get inspired by the busiest workers around as you check out an observation hive from Durham Beekeepers and pollinator-friendly merch from The Durham Originals.
Local beekeepers will be on hand to answer all your pressing pollinator questions and Honeygirl Meadery will be offering an insight into the world’s original boozy beverage.
Plus, there will be plenty of honey-kissed cocktails and snacks from the bar.
