Wake County Smart Start is hosting a free event, Story Splash, at Knightdale Station Park, 810 N. First Avenue, Knightdale, on Thursday, June 6th, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Come as you are and stay as long as you’d like for free storytime! Six stories with a water theme will be shared from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library collection.
Stories will begin at 5 p.m. and continue every 20 minutes until 7p.m. All ages are welcome. Storytime will begin with stories for children one and younger and progress through four and up.
You are welcome to bring your own picnic or snack. Be prepared for outdoors in hot weather, too. There will be some treats to put the “splash” in Story Splash!
Stay for a few minutes or until the very end. Each story will be read by a different storyteller.
All children are welcome at this free storytime event.
