Campbell University invites the public to a free solar eclipse viewing event at Barker-Lane Stadium, 558 Wade Stewart Circle, Buies Creek, NC. It’ll take place Monday, August 21st, 2107, from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
At the event, Campbell University Astronomical Society’s main telescope will feed into the stadium’s big screen to show the moon passing in front of the sun from around 1:16 p.m. to 4:06 p.m. with maximum coverage taking place at 2:45 p.m.
In addition to streaming the event, the Astonomical Society will distribute NASA-approved eclipse glasses.
