Leading up to Durham Mardi Gras (on Tuesday, February 13th; stay tuned for details on that) is Samedi Gras: Great Big Fat Saturday Bash.
It takes place Saturday, February 10th, 2018, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., at Murphey School, 3717 Murphy School Rd, Durham. Tickets are $12 and benefit Durham Mardi Gras, helping to bring the free Fat Tuesday event to Durham this year and every year.
This fun night will start with the area’s favorite second line band, the Bulltown Strutters, followed by Ellis Dyson and the Shambles.
The first 100 people in the door get a FREE bowl of red beans and rice. You’ll be able to purchase beer from Hillsborough’s Mystery Brewing Company.
