Kidzu Children’s Museum, at 201 S. Estes Drive, Chapel Hill, is presenting Renewable Energy Day on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This is a free event, but donations are welcome. Pre-registration is required to guarantee admission. Register here.
The event is part of North Carolina Science Festival and is one of many Earth Day celebrations in the Triangle.
At Renewable Energy Day, kids will participate in hands-on activities about renewable energy, including:
- Exploring electricity and conductive materials
- Building a water turbine
- Learning how solar power works
- Playing with a wind tunnel
