Here is some information on the sports:
Gaelic Football & Hurling are traditional Irish field sports and two of the five Gaelic games promoted by Ireland’s Gaelic Athletic Association.
Both games are gaining more and more popularity in the U.S. due to its fast pace, high skill and its all action features. The advent of online video has also helped to capture the imagination of American audiences. Please visit our Videos & Tutorials page for more info.
The Raleigh GAA Club was established in Spring 2012 to promote Gaelic sports in the Triangle area of North Carolina. The goals of the club are to:
introduce the sport of Gaelic Football, Hurling & Camogie to our community,
continue to grow our local league, and
participate successfully in inter-state, state and national tournaments.
