At Pure Life Theatre’s Summer Camps, kids can be part of a show!
This summer, your child can have an experience like no other! Days include dance, music, art, yoga and creative drama. Shows are directed by Deb Royals Mizerk, with music direction by Ronzel Bell and choreography by Chanda Branch and Aya Wallace.
The camps take place in the Historic Royal Bakery Building, 3801 Hillsborough Street, Suite 113, Raleigh.
Read on to learn about the two shows that kids will be putting on this summer, but first:
Triangle on the Cheap readers who register their child by May 1st, 2020, can receive FREE Before/After camp care, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Camp Hours: 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Camp Cost: $200 per week
Before/After Camp Care available for an additional fee, unless you take advantage of the early bird offer, above. Make sure to let them know you heard about this on Triangle on the Cheap.
Aladdin Kids
Who: Rising 2nd through rising 5th grade.
When: Weeks of June 8 and 15, with two final performances on the Pure Life Theatre main stage June 18 and 19.
Iago, Jafar, the Genie, and more are here in Disney’s Aladdin KIDS, a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love. Pure Life Theatre strongly encourage students who want to be a part of the show to be at both weeks of camp.
Lion King, Jr.
Who: Rising 5th grade to rising 8th grade
When: Weeks of August 10 and 17, with two performance on the Pure Life Theatre’s main stage on August 20 and 21.
Additional performances are scheduled to be presented at the 2020 African American Cultural Festival on September 5 and 6. There are a limited number of spots available for this camp. Students participating in this camp must attend both weeks.
The African Savannah comes to life on the stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle… and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.
