Pullen Park, at 408 Ashe Avenue, Raleigh, is popular with families for good reason. It features:

Pi Day at Pullen Park

In celebration of Pi Day, come to Pullen Park on March 14 from noon to 5 p.m. to learn about pi and numbers through a variety of fun activities. Enjoy crafts, games, a scavenger hunt and even a chance to “pi” a teacher in the face! Enter a hula hoop competition and a Pi memorization competition for a chance to win cool prizes. Pullen Community Center will be offering themed storytimes and fun crafts for all different ages. This event is for kids pre-K to 6th grade.

Shamrocks and Shenanigans at Pullen Park

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Pullen Park at this free festival. There will be live performances, food, games and beer.
Clouds Brewing will be hosting a beer garden area, and Doherty’s Paddy Wagon will be selling Irish food.

World Puppetry Day

In celebration of World Puppetry Day, Elizabeth Norval and the Zambezi Puppets will be presenting the well-loved tale by Beatrix Potter. Join Peter Rabbit as he explores Mr. McGregor’s garden. After the show, enjoy puppet crafting at the Pullen Community Center!
Pullen Park History Tours
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, starting January 20th, 2020
11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Learn about the unique history of Pullen Park through a guided walking tour. You will explore the park grounds with one of the knowledgeable staff members while they teach interesting facts about the history of the land, the different stages of the park, and the historic rides. Meet at the center cobblestone circle in front of the carousel. This is a free program and registration is not required. The tour lasts about an hour.
