Saori Community Weaving Pop-Up in Durham

Learn to weave by participating in a Saori Community Weaving Pop-Up on Saturday, June 30th, 2018, at Pleiades Gallery, 109 E. Chapel Hill Street, Durham.

This event is free and accessible to everyone. Sit down at a loom and learn the history behind weaving as well as several techniques.

The finished community banner will be displayed at Pleiades and will be for sale, with 100% of the proceeds going to community outreach and programming.

The community weaving project will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the public square and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. inside Pleiades.
