In all, they’ll be stocking more than 60,000 brook, brown, and rainbow trout, all of which will be 10 inches or longer, from November 30th to December 22nd, 2020.
The rules:
- You can harvest up to seven trout per day
- No bait restrictions
- No minimum size limits
- Trout may be harvested year-round
- Basic fishing license required
You can purchase your basic fishing license online, by calling 1-888-2HUNTFISH (1-888-248-6834) or by visiting one of more than 1,000 Wildlife Service Agents located across the state. An annual Statewide inland fishing license is $25 for a North Carolina resident. A 10-day inland fishing license is $9.
