IMPACT Series: Chamber Treasures — Music by Black Composers

Faculty Artists and Guest Musicians perform music by Black Composers in Honor of MLK, Jr. Day. Curated by Dr. Timothy Holley, NCCMI Faculty and student musicians will perform
While there is no charge for admission, there is a suggested donation of $15. Registration for seat reservation can be completed here.
James Dargan will return to Raleigh to perform alongside NCCMI faculty in a concert that includes important and influential works by composers of color. Immediately prior to the concert (6:00pm), NCCMI will present, Conversation with the Composer! Anyone interested in how someone becomes a composer should plan to attend this interactive event. Students are especially encouraged to attend the free and informal event.

Chamber Music Ensembles perform classical and popular music for the holiday! Audience participation opportunities including preconcert Tactile Tour of Instruments and Sound Search “Scavenger Hunt”! Especially appealing for our friends in the low vision and blind communities. The concert will also be recorded and streamed on the NCCMI YouTube Channel on March 2 at 5:00pm.
