The North Carolina Bach Festival Benefit Concert will take place Sunday, October 22nd, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at White Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1704 Oberlin Rd, Raleigh.

Sopranos Florence Peacock and Helen Wong, oboist Marry Ashley Barret, cellist Roman Placzek, harpsichordist Beverly Biggs and the North Carolina Bach Festival Ensemble lead by its Artistic Director Dr. Roman Placzek, the Executive Director of the NCBF, Inc. present the Benefit Concert to support the NCBF Youth Program and its educational and outreach activities.
In the program of Bach’s and Handel’s arias, Handel’s Sonata for Oboe and Basso continuo, Vivaldi’s sonata for cello and harpsichord in E minor, and Bach’s Cantata No. 84 with audience participation we would also like to honor the tireless and invaluable contribution to the arts of North Carolina and to the North Carolina Bach Festival by Florence Peacock and her husband James.
The tickets to the concert are free. As this is a benefit concert, donations are encouraged. You can donate in form of cash, a check, or credit card payment at the door before and after the concert, or via online payment at the official NCBF website.
