North Carolina African American Heritage Commission is leading free tours of North Carolina Freedom Park, 218 N Wilmington Street, Raleigh, North Carolina, every Saturday in February, 2025, from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
In this 45-minute tour, you’ll discover the rich history and design intentions of this remarkable space, along with the powerful stories of the “Voices of Freedom.” Please note that the tours involves walking and standing.
NC Freedom Park is the first park in North Carolina dedicated to honoring the African American struggle for freedom.
