Movies by Starlite at Southern Village

The Lumina Theater at Southern Village, 620 Market Street, Chapel Hill, will once again, in 2019, be presenting a low-cost outdoor movie series, Movies by Starlite.

The cost is $5 (kids under 5 are free.)

Here are some things to know about the movies series:

• All showings take place on the Southern Village Green across from the Lumina Theater
• All tickets are $5 (kids under 5 are free)
• You may bring in food and drinks but no glass bottles
• You may bring in your own chair and/or blankets
• No pets are allowed
• Movies are primarily on Saturdays, unless posted otherwise

May 25: The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part
June 1: How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
June 8: 80th Anniversary Celebration of The Wizard of Oz
June 15: Captain Marvel
June 22: Dumbo
June 29: Shazam!
July 20: 30th Anniversary Celebration of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure
August 17: 25th Anniversary Celebration of Forrest Gump

More films will be announced for July and August.
