United Way of Greater Triangle is hosting a physically distanced supply drive for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
The supply drive will benefit:
- Meals on Wheels of Wake County
- Urban Ministries of Durham
- Inter-Faith Council for Social Services
- Johnston Lee Harnett Community Action
It takes place on Monday, January 18th, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at these two locations:
- Wake Up And Read: 1820 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27604
- The Frontier: 800 Park Offices Dr., Research Triangle, NC 27709
Here are the supplies that the benefiting organizations are in need of. Please drop off any of these items to either of the above two locations.
Meals on Wheels of Wake County:
- Gallon zip lock bags
- Trash bags
- Toilet paper (4-pack)
- Small dish detergent
- Cleaning sponges
Urban Ministries of Durham:
- Gallon zip lock bags
- Bar soap (1 regular bar or 2 small bars)
- Shampoo (2 hotel size or 2 small bottle)
- Lotion (hotel size or large container that fits in the bag)
- Deodorant (small travel size)
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste (full size tube preferred; tube only, please discard the box)
- Washcloth
Inter-Faith Council for Social Services:
- Gallon zip lock bags
- Laundry detergent
- Dishwashing detergent
- General purpose cleaner
- Paper towels
- Toilet paper
- Gift cards (Walmart, Target, Food Lion)
- Disinfecting wipes
- Disinfecting spray (Lysol, etc.)
- Hand sanitizer
Johnston Lee Harnett Community Action:
- Gallon zip lock bags
- Pencils
- Pencil sharpeners
- Erasers
- Crayons
- Earbuds/headphones
