Messtival: A Messy Day of Exploration at Museum of Life + Science

Families are invited to Messtival–a messy day of exploration at Museum of Life + Science, 433 W. Murray Avenue, Durham, on September 29th, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event is included in regular admission. It’s free for museum members.

This is a celebration of all things messy, like:

Mud
Finger paint
Slime
Sand
Oobleck
Collaborative painting
Bubbles

Most messy activities occur in outdoor spaces, weather permitting. You should bring a change of clothes.

Several outdoor exhibits have washing stations.
