Several Wake Forest churches and community organizations are coming together to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during a virtual celebration on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021.
Area residents are invited to view the observance online at 6:30 p.m. The link for the livestream will be provided in the coming days.

The Wake Forest MLK Committee is offering a slate of contests for students in the Wake Forest and Rolesville schools to recognize their talents. Based on this year’s theme, the contests involve creative performance, writing and art.
Contest information and the entry form are now available.
The deadline for contest entries is Monday, Jan. 11, 2021.
Only contest winners and their parents will be permitted to attend the program in person.
