Local Bar, 2901 US 64 Hwy W, Apex, opened as a gas station in the 1940s. Over the years the gas pumps turned to beer taps, and now Local Bar is a gathering spot that features live music frequently, with no cover.
Please tip your bartender and the musicians. Maybe buy a CD if you like the music.
