Kidzu Children’s Museum is planning a new children’s museum. In order to gather community input and share ideas it’s presenting a FREE week-long Pop-Up Museum at Hillsborough Elementary School, 402 N. Nash Street, Hillsborough.
This mini-Kidzu will take place in the gym. It will be there from March 30th to April 5th, 2019.
Then it will move to UNC Campus Saturday, April 6th, 2019, to be part of the UNC Science Expo.
Finally, on Sunday, April 7th, it will return to Kidzu Children’s Museum, and will offer free admission.
This is a great activity for Orange County Schools spring break.

Kids are encouraged to dress in costume and bring their favorite doll or stuffed animal as volunteer medical students demonstrate health, safety and hospital procedures.

‘Zu-topia with Jammin’ Baby
Pre K-Early Elementary
Spend the morning singing, dancing, moving and grooving with animal yoga, Jammin’ Baby, storytime and outdoor exploration.

Instrument Zoo with the NC Symphony
Full Family Evening
Join us for a music-filled evening with the NC Symphony and design your own instruments and make music with code.

Join our outdoor blacksmith and take STEM learning to a whole new level! Inside, create your own planet and galaxy, make a constellation, and experiment with light.

Full Family Evening
Join us for a stellar conclusion at our Pop-Up! Come in galaxy costume as we explore space science with Morehead Planetarium and keep the forge going outdoors.
