International Festival of Raleigh has been canceled

UPDATE: This festival has been canceled for 2020, in the interest of public health.

The 34th International Festival of Raleigh takes place Friday, March 6th, to Sunday, March 8th, 2020, at the Jim Graham Building and Exposition Center, NC State Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh.

Friday, March 6th: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday, March 7th: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday, March 8th: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Tickets

Fees are added to tickets purchased online

Friday:

Adult: $8 in advance, $10 at the door
Child, senior, student: $6 in advance, $8 at the door

Saturday:

Adult: $10 in advance, $12 at the door
Child, senior, student: $8 in advance, $10 at the door

Sunday:

Adult: $8 in advance, $10 at the door
Child, senior, student: $6 in advance, $8 at the door

Weekend Pass:

Adult: $22 in advance, $28 at the door
Child, senior, student: $15 in advance, $18 at the door

A key Raleigh celebration, the Festival offers 3 days of international performances, food, games and cultural exhibits.

Over 50 different groups from around the world participate to showcase their cuisine, dance, and music; to share traditions and to celebrate their unique heritages.

The festival includes:

Main Stage: traditional and modern ethnic dances
Sidewalk Cafes: delicious food from around the globe.
Cultural Exhibits: local ethnic communities share their rich histories and traditions.
International Bazaar: shopping for global arts and crafts.
Biergarten Stage: bands and musical performances from around the world.
Sophia’s Corner: international games, face-painting, passport scavenger hunt, crafts, and other educational and fun kids’ stuff.
Demonstration Booths: interactive demos and workshops for international cooking, dance, and crafts.
Naturalization Ceremony: new American citizens take their oath in a moving ceremony at the festival’s opening.
