The 2nd Annual International Block Party is a free, family-friendly event that will give you a taste of cultural arts from around the world. It takes place Sunday, August 27th, 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., at Raleigh City Plaza, 400 Fayetteville Street.

- Continuous music and dance demonstrations from around the world
- Fun for kids
- Local beer with an international flair
- Food from around the world
- Mini Bazaar offering unique gifts and services
- Discount tickets to the International Festival, which will take place at the Raleigh Convention Center Oct. 20-22
