Habitat for Humanity ReStore of Durham and Orange Counties, 5501 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd, Durham, is offering a free workshop: Uniquely Upcycled Workshop: How to Makeover a Chair.
It costs $5 to secure your reservation, at the above link, but at the end of the workshop the $5 will be refunded. If you don’t come to the workshop, the $5 will go towards helping to build affordable housing.
The workshop takes place Saturday, May 26th, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the ReStore.
You’ll learn how to revive a chair by reupholstering and paint it. The completed chairs will be featured and sold at the ReStore to raise money for Habitat for Humanity of Durham and Orange Counties. You’ll have the option of purchasing the chair.
You’ll take the knowledge with you for free!
