Goldfish Swim School is celebrating its opening in Chapel Hill with a Grand Opening Party on Saturday, January 11th, 2020, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
It’s at 1728 Fordham Blvd., Chapel Hill.
This is a free event.
The event includes:
- Free family swim
- Photo booth
- Balloon twisting
- Free snacks
- Crafts
- More
Although all swim sessions are reserved, some walk-ins will be able to swim.
Children under age 6 must be accompanied by an adult in the water. Children who are not potty trained must be wearing a reusable swim diaper.

At Goldfish Swim School, we want children to enjoy swimming and learn life skills they can use outside of the pool, as well. Developmental psychologists have found through research how guided play is beneficial for a child’s cognitive growth. That’s why our instructors incorporate The Science of SwimPlay® in everything we teach. This holistic philosophy helps children learn life skills in a small class with a maximum student/teacher ratio of 4:1.
