Beats n Bars Festival, which celebrates hip hop culture, is gearing up for its second year with a Kickstarter campaign.
The festival, which will take place September 22nd and 23rd in Durham, has announced two of the headliners, Nick Grant, representing South Carolina, and Nitty Scott, who is straight out of Brooklyn, NY. Also performing will be G Yamazawa, OC from NC, The Real Laww, and Kaze along with many more. The festival is slated to have over 30 artists perform in two days.
To spread the word about the festival and to encourage audience members to contribute to the kickstarter, Beats n Bars has several free events planned in upcoming weeks in Durham.
June 16 – Third Friday at the Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau (6 p.m. to 9 p.m.)
June 17 – Five Points (7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.)
