I had to check this twice to make sure it was real, but gospel/soul/R&B singer/songwriter Liz Vice is performing in a free concert as part Oak Church’s 5th anniversary celebration. Oak Church is in the Lakewood neighborhood of Durham.
The concert takes place Friday, October 25th, 2019, at 6 p.m., in the alley outside of El Futuro, 2020 Chapel Hill Road, Durham, in Lakewood Shopping Center.
Also performing is Jeghetto, Durham’s beloved puppeteer.

You can purchase dinner from So Good Pupusas.
Portland, Oregon based Liz Vice’s album, There’s a Light, released on North Carolina label Ramseur Records, hit #6 on Billboard’s gospel chart and #12 on Billboard’s R&B chart.
Tarish Pipkins, a.k.a. Jeghetto, fine tuned his puppetry skills doing street performances in Durham, and is widely known in the Triangle for his imaginative puppet work. He controlled a puppet version of Pharell in a Missy Elliott music video.
