Grammy-award winning bluegrass band Steep Canyon Rangers are giving a FREE performance at Schoolkids Records. There will also be free pizza and drinks, while supplies last.
Steep Canyon Rangers are currently on the road supporting their North Carolina Songbook LP and CD, available for Record Store Day Black Friday on Yep Roc Records. The album is a live recording of their set at MerleFest 2019 where the Rangers performed a selection of covers of North Carolina-born artists like Doc Watson, Elizabeth Cotten, James Taylor, Thelonious Monk and more. The North Carolina Songbook LP and CD will be available at the band’s performance at Schoolkids Raleigh!
This is going to be a very popular event, so consider getting a VIP wristband. You can do that by stopping by after the record comes out November and picking up a copy. Then you’ll get a wristband that will grant you first entry and guaranteed standing room.
