The Arts Annex, at 404 Gattis Street, Durham, is a hub of student creativity at Duke University, offering space for student artists and organizations.
DukeCreate is a free arts workshop series for the Duke community taught by local artists and students in the MFA|EDA program. Workshop topics emphasize skill development and practical experience in ceramics, screen printing, painting and drawing, photography, and digital media.
Every so often, around once a month, the Arts Annex offers a free community workshop. These are open to the public at no charge. You don’t have to sign up in advance for them.
These workshops are open to anyone 18 and older, or age 12-18 accompanied by an adult.
