Theater troupe Bread and Puppet Theater is on a national tour and will be stopping in Carrboro to give a free circus workshop for kids on May 1st, 2016. It will take place at 2 p.m. at The Arts Center, 300-G East Main Street, Carrboro.Bread and Puppet Theater will work with participants to make circus acts featuring giant puppets, horses, flags, a brass band, and Santa Claus. At the end of the workshop, the mini-circus will be performed. This free workshop will run from 2:00 to 5:00. It’s free but space is limited and you need to register in advance.
Stick around for Bread and Puppet Theater’s 7:00 p.m. performance of Public Access Center for the Obvious Presents: The Situation. Tickets are $14, and $12 for seniors/students.
