Two ways to get free chicken

Some chicken restaurants are fighting to give you free chicken. (Note: Maybe Zaxby’s too? There was something on Twitter, but we need to see something official…)

Here’s what’s going on:

Popeyes

Popeyes is now on DoorDash in 1,000 locations. To celebrate, from January 13th to January 19th, 2020, customers who order $20 or more of Popeyes food through DoorDash will receive a free Chicken Sandwich Combo with a $0 delivery fee.

This is the chicken sandwich. You know what I’m talking about.

The combo includes the  buttermilk-battered and hand-breaded white-meat chicken filet served on a buttery, toasted brioche bun with two barrel-cured pickles and guests’ choice of classic mayo or spicy Cajun spread, accompanied by a signature side and small beverage.

Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A will give you a free 8-count Chick-fil-A Nuggets at participating restaurants from January 13th to 31st, 2020. You need to join and log into your Chick-fil-A One account on the Chick-fil-A App. 

Once you do that you should see the giveaway offer under your rewards (one per customer) and you can redeem it at the restaurant, drive-thru or when placing a mobile order.

There have been some stories about the freebie not showing up for some people. If that happens, just check back later.
