Teachers might need a beer more than the average person. World of Beer appreciations teachers and is offering them a free beer on Teacher Appreciation Day, May 3rd, 2016. Technically, in North Carolina, they’re knocking $5 off teachers’ checks instead of just handing them a free beer. You’ll find World of Beer in Raleigh, Cary and Fayetteville. Make sure to bring proof of teacher status.
Here’s the press release:
World of Beer (WOB) taverns nationwide are offering teachers a free Angry Orchard cider or Sam Adams beer on Teacher Appreciation Day, May 3. Whether guests are coming for a drink after the bell rings or thinking about pairing their brew during dinner plans, WOB wants to reward America’s educators by inviting them to enjoy a cold one at locations across the country by presenting a valid teacher ID. Guests in Arizona, Texas, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia and New York can anticipate five dollars off their check in lieu of a free beer.
“At World of Beer, we want to recognize and reward our educators for their work and devotion to shaping minds,” said Paul Avery, president and CEO of World of Beer. “We hope that teachers across the country pencil us into their plans on May 3 and join us in raising a glass to all their hard work.”
Offers may vary nationwide based on state laws. Please contact your local tavern to inquire about their specific offering.
