Orange County Historical Museum, 201 North Churton Street, Hillsborough, is hosting free arts classes for kids. The classes are taught by professional artist Renzo Ortega and are made possible by a grant by the Orange County Arts Commission.
Ortega will be giving instruction in basic painting and drawing techniques and will work with students to create artwork inspired by folk art, objects and images from the museum collections.
The workshops are free and open to the public! Children grades K-12 may attend. Parents please plan to remain for the entire class period. All materials will be provided.
