Celebrate National Alpaca Day! Get up close to the alpacas at Perry Farm, 2428 Walker Road in Hillsborough, at their National Alpaca Farm Day on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
You’ll get the chance to feed alpacas and learn about the care and handling of alpacas. Touch raw fleece and shop for alpaca fleece products. Check out scarves, hats and gloves made from alpaca fleece.

You can also meet the over 20 breeds of chickens on the farm. (Perry Farm will be starting an egg CSA in the fall.)
Also, meet the two Anatolian Shepherd Dogs, who live with the flock and the herd, keeping them safe from predators. But please leave your pets at home.
Special Directions: Enter 2434 Walker Rd, Hillsborough, NC into your GPS, instead of 2428 Walker Rd. The two addresses share a driveway, so find 2434 Walker and you will find the farm. There will also have hot pink signs pointing the way when you get close to the farm. There are 3 green mailboxes at the driveway. Turn onto the gravel drive and stay straight when it splits. Come through the gate and enjoy National Alpaca Farm Day at Perry Farm Alpacas.
