Sacred Grounds Coffeehouse, 2700 North Roxboro Street in Durham, is putting on an Earth Day Block Party on Saturday, April 23rd, 2016, starting at 12 p.m. It will be at the Pavilion, off Hugo Street. Play games and see environmental crafters.
Paul Doffing, bicycle touring folk musician, will perform at 12:30 p.m.
Exhibitors include NC Parks and Recreation, Durham Police Department Bicycle Safety Unit, Durham Police Department Crime Prevention Unit, Durham County Soil and Water Conservation District, The Sierra Club, Tilthy Rich Compost Service, Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association and Durham County Library.
Food and desserts will be available.
This free, family-friendly event is presented by Sacred Grounds Coffeehouse, an outreach ministry of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
