Duke Lemur Center invites you behind the scenes every Thursday at 10 a.m.
Lemur Science will feature a live talk with a Q&A from a Duke Lemur Center expert.
Learn what a Duke Lemur Center researcher does in the field. Or how to extract a preserve a 30 million year old primate fossil. Or about the unique island of Madagascar, or how lemur evolved such unique traits.
Each talk will be hosted by Duke Lemur Center’s virtual education partners on YouTube Live. Teachers and students are welcome to sign up in advance on www.exploringbytheseat.com to reserve video chat spots for the Q&A, and anyone is welcome to join in via live chat during the talk!
They will be posting the link to the live talk in the Facebook event on Thursday mornings, and if you can’t join live, that’s okay! They’ll share the recorded talk and Q&A on Duke Lemur Center’s Facebook page for you to enjoy a few days later.
Also, check in the Facebook event for information about the topic each week.
