
The Downtown Cary Harvest Festival takes place Saturday, October 28th, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., on South Academy Street and beyond.
It’s a free event, presented by The Heart of Cary Association, and is a chance to enjoy an afternoon in downtown Cary while getting to know Cary’s businesses. Costumes are encouraged!
Here’s some of what’s going on:
- Local arts and crafts vendors
 - Food trucks
 - wine and beer Garden at the Mayton Inn with beer from Bond Brothers and Jordan Lake Brewing
 - Petting Zoo
 - Face painting
 - Cookie decorating
 - Trick or Treat at the local businesses. Get a treat and sticker. Collect all the stickers and enter to win great prizes.
 - Live music
 - Free rickshaw rides
 
Also make sure to also visit Cary’s Great Pumpkin Carve the same day, at Downtown Park.
