Dance in the Park: Louisiana Dance Party features live music, dancing, food trucks, and craft beer, all supporting Durham Central Park.
It takes place Friday, July 22nd, 2022, from 5 to 10 p.m. at Durham Central Park, 501 Foster Street, Durham. The cost is $10. $1 of every drink sold by The Glass Jug will be donated to the park.
Live music will be provided by Bulltown Strutters and the Cajammers.
Schedule of Dance in the Park
- 5 p.m.:- Beer begins flowing and food trucks open their windows to serve!
- 6 p.m.: Live, interactive performance with the Bulltown Strutters!
- 7 p.m.: Free dance lesson with the Triangle’s own Rajun Cajun, Elvis Latiolais!
- 7:30 p.m.: – Cajun 2-Step & Waltz with the Cajammers!
- 9 p.m.: Live music ends. Food trucks pack up.

Poems
William Davis, the former Hillsborough Poet Laureate from 2016-2018 will be joining to write poems on request for anyone in attendance. A portion of all proceeds from the poems will be donated to Durham Central Park.
