Rising Durham Public Schools kindergarten students and their families are invited to Countdown to Kindergarten at Museum of Live & Science on Thursday, August 3rd, 2017, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
This is a free event.
Families will get to tour the museum’s exhibits and meet Letterland characters.
They’ll also get to:
- Sign up for a library card
- Learn about other Durham Community resources
- Learn more kindergarten curriculum and common core standards
- Learn about bus safety and enjoy a school bus ride
- Learn about the school lunch programs
- Learn about required immunizations
- Learn about before and after school programs
