Celebrate Arbor Day with the Town of Cary on Saturday, March 18th, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the lawn of the Page-Walker Arts & History Center, 119 Ambassador Loop, Cary, North Carolina.
At this free event, enjoy:

- Kids’ activities
- Live falconer demonstration
- Take-home birdhouse painting activity
- Community art demonstration with a muralist
In addition, registered Cary residents can receive free trees from the My Tree, Our Tree native tree giveaway. If you’ve registered you can pick up one free native tree per household to plant in your yard.
Registration begins Tuesday, February 28th, 2023, at 9 a.m.
Learn more about and register for the My Tree, Our Tree program. More than 500 trees will be given away but you have to sign up in advance.
Drive-thru pickup will be in the lower level of the Cary Parking Deck, 121 Wilkinson Avenue, on Town Hall Campus, the same as the Arbor Day celebration.
In addition to the tree, participants receive:
- Tree guard
- Gift certificate for a FREE bag of topsoil
- Gift certificate for a FREE bag of mulch
- Rain gauge
- Tree planting instruction sheet and manual

- Little Gem Magnolia
- American Dogwood
- Beautyberry
