Families are invited to “Out of the Gourdinary” Family Fun Day at Carpenter Park, 4420 Louis Stephens Drive, Cary, on Saturday, October 7th, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The “gourd” theme comes from the “Out of the Gourdinary” collaborative art project, pictured below, that was at the park. The living structure is no longer, but the gourd fun will live on at this fun event.
Here’s what’s going on:
- Pickleball demonstrations
- Gourd arts and crafts
- Food trucks
- Ice cream
- Live music
- Community garden tours
- Bike rally around the lake at 4 p.m.
