NC AAHGS is a part of the 44 year old National Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society, Inc. (AAHGS)
Join us for the 19th NC Regional AAHGS Genealogy Conference designed to encourage individuals interested in their family story; and those that are actively researching their family history. Sample Workshop classes are: “Genealogy 101″Presenter: Mavis W. Jones (Chr. Genealogy Comm. and 25yr Veteran Genealogist) “Freedom Bound! Escaping the Antebellum South for Life in the North” Presenter: Renate Yarborough Sanders (National, Professional Genealogist), “Utilizing City Directories for Your Genealogy Research” Presenter: Jeffrey Houser (Pres. Mecklenburg Genealogical Society, Inc.)
Workshops will be facilitated by experienced local and national genealogist and research professionals.
