Africana Market & Food Truck Rodeo

The Africana Market and Food Truck Rodeo takes place September 9th to 11th, 2019, from 11 a.m.to 6 p.m. each day, at Marriott Hotel & Conference Center at Carolina Theatre, 309 W. Morgan Street, Durham.

Each day purchase lunch and dinner from some of Durham’s tastiest food trucks, while visiting vendors displays on the Plaza.

This food truck rodeo and market is part of the Second Annual Black Communities Conference, a paid event, that’s sponsored by the University of North Carolina’s Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise and the Institute of African American Research.

The conference anticipates bringing 600 to 800 Black scholars, activists, artists and community leaders from across the United States and at least ten other countries.
